In Meuselwitz he was team captain and was able to celebrate promotion to the NOFV-Oberliga Süd in 2004 . In January 2007, he surprisingly moved to SV Schmölln in the Thuringia regional league, to end his career there under head coach André Barylla , with whom he played in Zwickau. After half a year he left Schmölln and returned to ZFC Meuselwitz, where he was hired as an assistant coach. On the 2nd matchday of the 2007/08 season he played one last game for his team. Since his resignation as coach in April 2014, HP has been playing for his home club, the regional top division club SG Gnandstein.
