Holtrand Open 2017

The Holtrand Open 2017 took place February 9-12 , 2017 in Medicine Hat , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 25 category .

The winner of the last event last year was Leo Au , which reached the semi-finals this year. Yip Tsz-Fung won the final against Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi with 8:11, 11: 8, 8:11, 12:10 and 12:10.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Brock Janzer a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
