Holzen is a district of the Nandlstadt market in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .
history
The wasteland between Nandlstadt and Reichertshausen was first mentioned in a document in 808 and has been inhabited since then. This makes Holzen one of the oldest officially mentioned wastelands in the Hallertau , which has never changed its character as a settlement. Before the municipal area reform in 1978, it was part of the dissolved municipality of Figlsdorf .
