Figlsdorf is a village in the northern district of Freising in Upper Bavaria . 55 inhabitants live in the village (as of 2012). Since January 1, 1972 Figlsdorf has been part of the Nandlstadt market .

history

The place is first mentioned in a document in 850 as Fitalesdorf ("Dorf des Vitalis") and until the beginning of the 19th century it was the seat of a chairman in the Moosburg district court on the Isar of the Duchy or Electorate of Bavaria .

The branch church of St. Leonhard in Figlsdorf is a Romanesque-Gothic hall building with a polygonal choir, west tower and attached sacristy; the nave was renewed in the 19th century. In 1818, the Figlsdorf rural community was founded with the municipal edict. In addition to the main town and the church village of Aiglsdorf, it also included Brudersdorf, Höllbauer, Holzen , Kitzberg, Kleinwolfersdorf, Meilendorf (formerly Mailendorf), Riedglas, Riedhof, Wadensdorf (formerly: Watterstorf) and Weihersdorf. With the municipal reform , the municipality of Figlsdorf became part of the Nandlstadt market on January 1, 1972 .

Figlsdorf had a stop on the now disused Hallertau local railway from Langenbach to Enzelhausen .
