Honeywell HTF7000

The Honeywell HTF7000 is a turbofan engine for medium-sized business aircraft produced by the US company Honeywell Aerospace .

development

The engine is a twin-shaft engine which was first developed under the name AS907 with a core engine power range of 17.8 to 40.0 kN. It received its FAA approval in June 2002 and was renamed HTF7000 in 2003. It was first used in January 2005 on the Bombardier Challenger 300 .

The engine is equipped with a FADEC , blisks and a reverse thrust system. It has four axial compressor stages including two stators with variable geometry, a single radial compressor, a cooled combustion chamber, a two-stage high-pressure and a three-stage low-pressure turbine that drives a fan .

Versions

HTF7000
Original version of the engine for the Bombardier Challenger 300 . In early 2011, the engine had a million flight hours with a reliability of 99.96%.
HTF7250G
Version for the Gulfstream G280 . The engine received its FAA approval in early 2011.
HTF7350

Performance-enhanced version for the Bombardier Challenger 350

HTF7500E
Version with 31 kN thrust for the Embraer Legacy 450 and Embraer Legacy 500 business aircraft . The engine has been in the flight test on a Boeing 757 since the beginning of 2011 and is to be approved in 2012.
