The Hongxing Ri is a 6927 m high mountain in the Himalayas in Tibet .
The Hongxing Ri is located 15.81 km northwest of Mount Everest . An approximately 6400 m high pass separates the mountain from Gyachung Kang ( 7952 m ), 6.74 km to the west . The southwest flank feeds the western Rongpu glacier, on the east flank a tributary glacier of the Rongpu glacier extends . A mountain ridge leads to the slightly lower Tongqiang Ri ( 6907 m ), which is 1.69 km southeast . The Jiuda Glacier flows on the north flank of the Hongxing Ri .
There are no known ascents of the Hongxing Ri.
