Honoré Langlé

Honoré François Marie Langlé (* 1741 in Monaco ; † September 20, 1807 in Villiers-le-Bel , Département Val-d'Oise , France ) was a Monegasque composer and professor .

He studied at the Conservatory in Naples and achieved considerable success with his first works in Italy. In 1768 he moved to Paris , where he became professor of harmony at the Conservatory.

As a composer, in addition to his successes in Italy, he also made a name for himself during the French Revolution.
