Hoplisoides is a genus of digger wasps (Spheciformes) from the Crabronidae family. There are three species in the Mediterranean area, four species occur in Europe, one of them also in Germany.
features
The compound eyes of the species are far apart, their inner edges are almost parallel and the bases of the antennae are close to the front plate ( clypeus ).
Way of life
The incubator is provided with cicadas from certain families, such as the treehoppers (Membracidae), leafhoppers (Cicadellidae), ants cicadas (Tettigometridae) and Flugoridae .
