Horatio Orlando Poulter (born October 29, 1877 in Frimley , † August 30, 1963 in Guildford ) was a British marksman .

successes

Horatio Poulter took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in three disciplines. With the free pistol over 50 m he finished sixth in the individual, while he won the bronze medal with Hugh Durant , Albert Kempster and Charles Stewart in the team competition behind the US and Swedish teams. With the army revolver over 30 m, he took third place in the team competition with Durant, Kempster and Stewart, this time behind Sweden and Russia. While Poulter was the weakest shooter of the team with 249 points over 30 m, he achieved over 50 m with 461 points, the best value among the four British shooters.
