Charles Edward Stewart (born September 6, 1881 in Lacock , † 1965 in Weymouth ) was a British marksman .
successes
Charles Stewart took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm . With the free pistol over 50 m he finished third in the individual with 470 points behind Alfred Lane and Peter Dolfen and also secured the bronze medal with Hugh Durant , Horatio Poulter and Albert Kempster in the team competition behind the US and Swedish teams . With the army revolver over 30 m, he also took third place in the team competition with Durant, Poulter and Kempster, this time behind Sweden and Russia. With 284 points he was the third best over 30 m and over 50 m with 435 points the weakest shooter of the team.
