Horiraa , with the second name Neferibrenefer , was a high ancient Egyptian official who served in the 26th Dynasty under the pharaohs Necho II. , Psammetich II. And Apries . He is known from numerous monuments. His father's name was Anchhor and, like his son, he was the head of the gate guard . His mother was called Atumemnetjer.
Horiraa bore the title chief of the Guards (imi-ra Ruyt), head of the royal harem (imi-ra ipet-nisut) and referred to himself as an educator of Psammetichus II. He also contributed the title of prince , but there be an honorary title got to. Horiraa had a large grave in Saqqara (LS 23), which the Lepsius expedition found and some of the decorations copied. This is where his shabtis come from , which are now in numerous collections all over the world.
