The Hornet ( Norwegian for horn ) is a pointed mountain peak in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . He penetrates 5 km west of Snøhetta in Regula chain of Ahlmannryggen on.
Norwegian cartographers named the mountain descriptively and mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
