The Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal is a ferry port in the Canadian province of British Columbia . It is located on Howe Sound Bay near West Vancouver in the Metro Vancouver Regional District . The ferry port is on the route of Highway 1, among other places .
BC Ferries ( British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. ), as the main operator of the ferry connections on the west coast of British Columbia, operates various routes from here.
There is a public transport connection from the ferry terminal to downtown Vancouver. In principle, TransLink is responsible for providing this connection . The route is currently served by bus routes 250 and 257 of the West Vancouver Blue Bus . With the express bus 257 the travel time from the ferry terminal to the city center is around 40 minutes.
