The Horseshoe Crater (English for horseshoe crater ) is a volcanic crater in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range, it rises at the confluence of the Radiant Glacier and the Pipecleaner Glacier .
Scientists from the New Zealand Geological Survey explored it between 1977 and 1978. The New Zealand Geographic Board gave it its descriptive name in 1994.
