Horst-Dieter Kolletschke

Horst-Dieter Kolletschke (born February 29, 1952 in Eckernförde ) is a German naval officer. Most recently he was Rear Admiral and Head of Operations Support in the Naval Command.

Military career

From 1972 to 1975 Kolletschke studied electrical engineering at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences . He then joined the German Navy with Crew VII / 75 . After one year of officer training, Kolletschke continued his studies in electrical engineering at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . He graduated in 1979 with a diploma. After that he was employed as a replenishment officer and squadron chief in Naval Aviation Wing 5 in Kiel-Holtenau . In 1983 he moved to the Institute for Electrical Machines and Drive Technology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich as a research assistant, which made him Dr.-Ing. PhD . As the successor to Rear Admiral Axel Schimpf , he headed the Navy Office in Rostock from April 2010 until it was decommissioned. After that, on October 1, 2012, he moved to the Naval Command , which had been reorganized at the Naval Office's location, as Head of Operations Support . He handed over this office to Karl-Wilhelm Ohlms on August 14, 2014 and was retired at the end of the month.

Kolletschke is a member of the executive committee of the German Defense Association .
