Horst Brühmann (sculptor)

Horst Brühmann (born March 19, 1942 in Halle (Saale) ; † June 12, 2014 there ) was a German sculptor and medalist .

Life

Brühmann did an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker from 1961 to 1963. He then studied design and architecture at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art in Halle until 1969 , especially with Gerhard Lichtenfeld and Friedrich Engemann . After completing his studies, from 1969 to 1972 he was a trainee in the plastics department with Gerhard Lichtenfeld. Since 1973 he has worked as a freelance sculptor in Halle.
