In the 1970s, Brunsiek drew attention to himself primarily through campaigns that critically examined the person registration systems, bureaucracy and administration ( letter campaign NumAktion , concerns: personal identification ). Brunsiek then created spatial installations, the concepts of which defy all reason and logic and thus refer to the compulsive independence of systems in the institutionalized world , such as the work Raum Oq 4 / II .
