Horst Goeppinger

Horst Göppinger (born December 8, 1916 in Stuttgart ; † December 6, 1996 ) was a German judge who, in 1963, presented a paper on the persecution of jurists of Jewish descent by National Socialism , which is considered a standard work and was reprinted in 1990.

Göppingen, who in 1939 passed his first state examination, took as a soldier in World War II, in part, was in 1958 at the University of Tübingen Dr. jur. doctorate and was a judge at the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart. In 1980 he was made an honorary professor by the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg for his scientific merits . From 1961 he was co- editor of the FamRZ . He also commented since the 10th processing in BGB - Großkommentar Staudinger norms of family law.
