Horst tripe washer

Horst Kuttelwascher (born October 6, 1937 in Prittlbach , Hebertshausen , Bavaria , † July 26, 2016 ) was an Austrian rower who won a bronze medal at the 1962 World Championships.

Tripe washer started for the Linz rowing club Ister . At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome , the four-man with helmsman with Dieter Ebner , Helmuth Kuttelwascher , his brother Horst Kuttelwascher, Dieter Losert and helmsman Wolfdietrich Traugott came second behind the boat from the Soviet Union and won his hope run. In the semi-finals, the four-man missed the final by one second as fourth. Two years later, Ebner, Losert and the Kuttelwascher brothers won the bronze medal in the four without a helmsman at the 1962 World Rowing Championships in Lucerne behind the boats from Germany and France. Another two years later, Losert, Ebner, Horst Kuttelwascher and Manfred Krausbar reached the B final at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and finished eighth overall.
