history

Early history

The main town of Hebertshausen can look back on a history spanning more than 1200 years, the first documented mention being dated between 783 and 789. However, the early history goes back much further: At the beginning of November 2011, in the course of the development work for the new building area “Ampermoching Ost IV”, remains of a Celtic settlement from the Latène period (5th – 1st century BC) were discovered. First and foremost, there are post impressions from at least three wooden houses as well as some ceramic shards typical of the time. According to the building plans discovered, the site can be traced back to the 3rd or 2nd century BC. To date.

In October 2018, an amateur archaeologist found 98 objects in a field near the Sulzrain district , including 74 bronze pieces that the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation had given a four-wheeled float including horse harness from the Bronze Age around 1200 BC. Chr. Assigned. Further investigations showed that the car of the archaeological type "Hart an der Alz" had burned. This suggests that the vehicle was a grave object.

Until the church is planted

Hofkammerpräsident Johann Mandl, whose family was well off in the area since the 17th century, in 1625 acquired the seat interpretation Hofen , the 1627 I. by Elector Maximilian to the closed Hofmark was charged. In 1654, the previously regional court village of Hebertshausen was included in the Hofmark. The barons of Mandl remained in the Deutenhofen Castle until it was sold to the Counts of Spreti in 1834. The Counts of Spreti had held the Hofmark (since 1820 patrimonial court ) Unterweilbach since 1771 , which had also belonged to the Mandl family from around 1679 to 1738. The branch church of the Birth of Mary in Unterweilbach therefore contains the epitaphs of Count Hieronymus von Spreti (1695–1772) and his wife Maria Caroline Charlotte von Spreti, née. von Ingenheim (1704–1749), former favorite of the Elector and Emperor Karl Albrecht of Bavaria , with whom she also had a son who founded the noble family of Counts von Holnstein from Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria by Count Maximilian von Montgelas , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818.

19th to 21st century

In 1915 the Royal Powder and Munitions Factory Dachau (called "Pumpf") was established in the municipality of Prittlbach. Until 1848, however, the community was a patrimonial community . In 1971 the municipality of Ampermoching was incorporated into Hebertshausen.
