Horst Nägele

Horst Waldemar Nägele (born May 29, 1934 in Stuttgart ) is a German-Danish philosopher and author.

Life

Nägele studied German, Scandinavian, English and philosophy at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel , the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England and the University of Aarhus in Denmark. He received his doctorate in Kiel in 1969.

He initially worked as an administrative officer and operations manager, later as a linguist, philosophy and literary historian.

He lives on the island of Funen in Denmark.

Nägele is a member of JP Jacobsen Selskabet and the Internationale Schelling-Gesellschaft e. V., Leonberg.
