Horst Nussbaumer

Horst Nussbaumer (born March 30, 1949 in Linz ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and managing director. From October 1993 to June 1994 Nussbaumer was a member of the Austrian Federal Council posted from Upper Austria .

Career

Horst Nußbaumer was born in 1949 in the Upper Austrian capital Linz. After completing compulsory school, he attended a business school and a business school in Regensburg . From 1968 to 1976 Nussbaumer worked as a journalist aspirant or editor for various newspapers, such as the Linzer Volksblatt , the Tagblatt , the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten and the Ski-Welt . In the following years from 1976 to 1980 he worked as a freelance journalist, before becoming managing partner of the advertising agency WerbePlan in Linz in 1980 . Afterwards he was also a managing partner of the advertising agency Trademark .

In 1992 Nussbaumer was active full-time in politics when he was appointed regional manager of the FPÖ Upper Austria. October 12, 1993 Horst Nussbaumer was the successor of the National Council exchanged Alois Pumberger from the Upper Austrian parliament sent to the Federal Council. The inauguration took place in the 575th Federal Council meeting on November 4, 1993. In the Federal Council, Nussbaumer was a member of the Committee for Family and Environment, the Health Committee and the Committee for Agriculture and Forestry and a substitute member of the Social Committee, the Environment Committee and the Committee for Science and Research . After he renounced the Federal Council mandate on June 30, 1994, Ursula Haubner took it over.
