Horst Raubold (born December 26, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Career
Raubold began his footballing career at SSV Ulm in 1846 and then played one season with Normannia Gmünd before moving to 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 in 1973 in the then second-class Regionalliga Süd. He was soon able to establish himself as a regular player and in 1974 qualified with his club for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga (South Season). In 1976 they were relegated to the third-rate Bayern amateur league. Raubold initially stayed in the team. The relegated finished the 1976/77 season only as 14th in the amateur league, Raubold moved to Wormatia Worms in 1977 and thus returned to professional football (2nd league). Raubold was also a regular player in Worms and barely missed promotion to the Bundesliga with his club in 1977/78.
In 1979 Horst Raubold came to the Bundesliga by moving to TSV 1860 Munich . Established again straight away in the regular eleven, Raubold contributed to staying up in the 1979/80 season. However, this was followed by descent in 1981 and license withdrawal in the second division a year later. Raubold then signed a contract with the second division Union Solingen , which he left after one season (20 games) and moved to league rivals Stuttgarter Kickers . He played there for two years (until 1985) and then played for the amateur club VfL Günzburg .
After the end of his career as a player, he coached the clubs VfB Jettingen and FC Mindeltal. Later he went to TSV Langenau, where he first trained the A-youth and then acted as youth coordinator.
From 2012 he coached the first team of TSV Langenau and in 2013 achieved promotion with the team to the district league, but had to leave the club in September 2015.
Horst Raubold is a youth coach at 1. FC Heidenheim .
