Horst Stachelhaus
Horst Stachelhaus (born October 15, 1950 , † May 20, 1999 in Eitorf ) was a German musician .
Stachelhaus was bassist for the German rock group Message in the early 1970s and for Birth Control from 1977 to 1979 and from 1993 to 1998. For a long time he formed the line-up of Randy Hansen and Alex Oriental Experience together with Manni von Bohr (drums) . Furthermore, Stachelhaus was editor-in-chief of the specialist journal Musikmagazin for many years .
His last appearance with Birth Control was in 1998, and he died in 1999 after a long illness.
