Randy Hansen (born December 8, 1954 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American musician . The guitarist is known for his interpretations of Jimi Hendrix 's music.

Career

In the early 1980s, Hansen played with the original musicians of the Jimi Hendrix Experience (until the deaths of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell ) and with Buddy Miles , the drummer of Hendrix's band of Gypsys, who died in 2008 .

His line-up - when he appears in Europe - consists of UFO Walter (formerly Horst Stachelhaus at times ) on bass and Manni von Bohr on drums. The line-up may differ for performances in the USA.
