Horst von Windheim

Horst von Windheim (born September 17, 1886 in Naumburg (Saale) , † April 17, 1935 in Saas-Fee ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Windheim studied law at the University of Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Bremensia there in 1906 . After completing his studies, von Windheim worked as an assessor in Budapest during the First World War . Then he was in Berlin and until 1921 at the district office in the Essen district . In 1921 he was appointed district administrator in the Winsen district. He carried out this office until the district was dissolved in 1932. In 1932/33 he was district administrator in the Gardelegen district and then until 1935 district administrator in the Wanzleben district of the province of Saxony . He died at the age of 48 from an avalanche in the Valais Alps .
