Hoschuly ( Ukrainian Гожули ; Russian Гожулы Goschuly ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Poltava with about 2900 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the 17th century, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the west of Poltava Rajon , with a total of about 4,000 inhabitants , to which the villages Andriivka ( Андріївка , ⊙ ) with about 160 inhabitants, Soriwka ( Зорівка , ⊙ ) with about 130 inhabitants and Padalky ( Падалки , ⊙ ) with about 600 inhabitants.
The village is located on the northwestern outskirts of Poltava, 9 km west of the city center and 3 km north of the village of Suprunivka .
