Big cities Bochum

The Hosiepen is a flowing water between Stalleicken and Eiberg on the street Am Hosiepen . It flows into the Eibergbach .

Three fish ponds were created in the post-war period . In 2005 the city of Bochum decided to let the ponds run dry. From August 2008 the site was redesigned, two natural ponds were planned and a bridge was built. The plants and animals have been recovered in the meantime. In 2009 the measure was completed. It cost 150,000 euros.
