The Trappist Abbey of Matutum has been a Filipino monastery in Landan, Polomolok , South Cotabato , Mindanao , Diocese of Marbel since 1995 .
history
At the invitation of the Filipino Trappist Abbey of Guimaras , the Italian Trappist convent Vitorchiano founded the monastery "Our Lady of Mount Matutum" in 1993 (1995) on the Philippine island of Mindanao on the extinct volcano Matutum (north of the city of General Santos ), which became a priory in 2000 and an abbey in 2012 was raised.
