The Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN; in German about Namibian Hotel Association ) is the industry association for the Namibian hospitality industry . The association has 384 members (as of March 2020) and is the largest of its kind in Namibia.
The association was founded in 1987 by initially 16 companies from the hospitality industry. According to his own statement, he mainly represents accommodation companies , conference centers and catering companies .
HAN Award of Excellence
The association gives the "HAN Award of Excellence" every year in the categories of self-catering accommodation , bed and breakfast , guest house , guest farm , lodge and hotel . The evaluation of the award winners is based on assessments by guests.
