A guest farm is a farm that is particularly widespread in southern Africa and offers accommodation and food for individual tourism. A stay on a guest farm is comparable to European agrotourism .

Many owners of guest farms offer their guests Farm tours, game drives and sundowner on. On these trips, guests are usually shown the special features of the farm and the farm operations. A guest farm can also be a hunting farm , an astro farm or a wild animal farm .

In the United States , guest farms are referred to as Guest Ranch or Dude Ranch . As in Namibia, some ranches are also used as hunting farms. A ranch is comparable to a farm, or the farm in Germany. There is an association in the USA, the Dude Ranchers' Association , which provides information about staying on Guest and Dude Ranches.
