Hot Club De Paris is a three-member British indie rock - band , which in 2004 Liverpool was founded and is currently in Moshi Moshi Records under contract.

Band history

The band was formed in 2004 after Smith and Rafferty met in 2003 at a Chester racecourse . The members played in various bands from Liverpool before. Their sound is audibly influenced by math rock and experimental indie rock, although they also share their love for American punk rock .

In 2005 they signed with Moshi Moshi Records and toured extensively to support their first album Drop It 'Til It Pops , which also enjoyed strong airplay in England for that reason . 2006 and 2007 accompanied them as opening act bands like Maxïmo Park and The Who worldwide.

In 2008 the second album Live At Dead Lake was released , which is not a live album .
