Houston Roosevelt Hoover (* 6. February 1965 in Yazoo City , Mississippi ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of offensive guards . He played in his career with the Atlanta Falcons , Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Hoover attended Jackson State University in Jackson , Mississippi .

NFL

Hoover was selected in the sixth round in the 1988 NFL Draft in 140th place by the Atlanta Falcons . Here he quickly became part of the permanent staff in his position, having already played twelve of 16 games from the start. He stayed with the Falcons until after the 1992 season and then joined the Cleveland Browns for a year . Here, too, he was a starter and played all 16 games from the start. After the season he went to the Miami Dolphins . Here he was only used sporadically, also due to an injury. Then he ended his professional career.
