Hovdebrekka (Norwegian for hill slope is) a few kilometers long and columns Infused glacier field in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Wohlthatmassiv it extends from Skeidshovden in a northerly direction.
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named the glacier field, mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
