The Hovdebukta ( Norwegian for hill bay ) is a side bay of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located on the east side of this bay.
Norwegian cartographers mapped them using geodetic surveys and aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . Its name is derived from the Langhovde (Norwegian for long hill ) immediately north of the hill group .
