Mr. Ms. De Ruyter (F806)

The Mr. Ms. De Ruyter (F806) was a guided missile frigate of the Tromp class of the Royal Netherlands Navy . It was on 22 December 1971 at the shipyard Koninklijke Maatschappij "De Schelde" (KMS) in Vlissingen (Netherlands) placed on Kiel and expired on March 9, 1974 from the stack . At the time of its commissioning on June 3, 1976, the ship was together with the sister ship Hr. Ms. Tromp the strongest combat unit in the Dutch Navy. The NATO - Ship identification was F 806.
