Hryhoriy Swerbetov
Hryhorij Swerbetow ( Ukrainian Григорій Свербетов , English transcription Hryhoriy Sverbetov; born April 3, 1939 in Odessa ) is a former Ukrainian sprinter who started for the Soviet Union in the 400-meter run .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was seventh in the 4-by-400-meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 400 m .
In 1966 he was eliminated from the European Athletics Championships in Budapest over 400 m in the semifinals and in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.
He set his personal best of 46.7 s in 1965.
