Hu Heming (born March 21, 1994 in Dandenong ) is an Australian table tennis player of Chinese descent. He took part in the 2016 Olympic Games . He is right handed.

Career

Hu Heming started playing table tennis at the age of seven. In 2014 he performed internationally for the first time. So he was able to reach the semifinals at the Dandenong Open, where he was inferior to his compatriot Datta Shibaji . Further appearances followed at the 2015 World Cup , where he defeated the much stronger player Ádám Pattantyús in individual qualification , who later reached the third round. He also won the national championships. At the Swedish Open, he failed in qualifying. In 2016 he won the title at the Austrian Open in the U-21 class, at the Belgium and Czech Open he repeatedly lost in qualification. That same year he was named best Australian player.
