Hubert Auer (born December 19, 1981 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper who is currently the goalkeeping coach at SV Ried .

Career

Auer started his career at BSV Juniors Villach , from there he moved to SV Ried via FC Kärnten and FC Lustenau 07 . The substitute goalkeeper of Thomas Gebauer made his Bundesliga debut on May 5, 2010 in the 1: 3 defeat against SV Mattersburg . At the end of the 2010/11 season he won the Austrian Cup with SV Ried.

After his contract with Ried was not extended, Auer was without a club after winning the cup. He was signed by SV Grödig on September 19, 2011 , as Salzburg urgently needed a replacement after a serious injury to goalkeeper Georg Blatnik . After Auer could only book two league appearances for himself, he did not extend his expiring contract and instead became goalkeeping coach at SV Ried .
