Hubert K. Hilsdorf
Hubert Karl Hilsdorf (born May 20, 1930 in Munich ; † November 8, 2010 ) was a German civil engineer and professor.
Career
Hilsdorf received his doctorate in 1964. He was then from 1965 Associate Professor at the University of Illinois and from 1968 Professor of Civil Engineering. In 1971 he followed a call to the University of Karlsruhe . The focus of his scientific work was on materials in construction.
Awards
In 1996 he was awarded a Dr.-Ing. From the Technical University of Braunschweig . honorary appointed. The following year he received the Emil Mörsch Memorial Coin from the German Concrete Association .
