Hubert Klöpfer

Hubert Klöpfer (* 1951 in Bühl ) is a German publisher . He is the managing partner of Klöpfer & Meyer Verlag .

Life

Klöpfer studied German language and literature, philosophy and theology in Tübingen , was an editor at a science publisher, a freelance critic for various newspapers and magazines and, for many years, the head of a science and non-fiction publisher.

In 1991 Klöpfer co-founded Klöpfer & Meyer Verlag in Tübingen as a publishing house for beautiful literature, non-fiction and essay writing. He has been managing the publishing house since 2006 as managing partner.

Klöpfer is a writing board member of the Baden-Württemberg regional association of the German Book Trade Association and a member of the PEN Center Germany .

He is married and has three daughters.
