Hubert Lamey

Hubert Lamey (born October 30, 1896 , † April 7, 1981 ) was a German officer , most recently major general in World War II . As Colonel and Commander of the Grenadier Regiment 328, he was awarded the German Cross in Gold on July 28, 1943 and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on February 12, 1944 . Lamey commanded the 21st Infantry Division , the 28th Jäger Division and the 118th Jäger Division during the war .
