Hubert Lauer

Hubert Lauer (born January 10, 1897 in Simmern ; † October 4, 1959 in Bad Tölz ) was SS-Sturmbannführer (1941) and, as administrative leader, head of the site administration in Sachsenhausen concentration camp .

Lauer, a member of the SS ( membership number 291.721), moved from the Altona police headquarters to the Gestapa in April 1935 . He was also employed in the administration of the inspection of the concentration camps . From 1940 until the dissolution of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp in April 1945, Lauer was the administrative manager of the site administration there.

The Cologne public prosecutor's office was investigating Lauer after the end of the Second World War . The investigation was closed on September 24, 1962, as Lauer had already passed away.
