Hubert Nienhoff

Hubert Nienhoff (* 1959 in Bottrop-Kirchhellen ) is a German architect .

Study and job

Hubert Nienhoff studied architecture at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen) and graduated in 1985 as a Dipl.-Ing. Architect. From 1988 to 1991 he was assistant at the chair for urban planning and engineering at RWTH Aachen. Nienhoff has been a partner in the von Gerkan, Marg und Partner (gmp) office since 1993 . Among other things, he heads the gmp offices in Berlin (together with Stephan Schütz ) and Rio de Janeiro . He also teaches at the Academy for Architectural Culture that he helped initiate .
