Hubert Urach

Hubert Urach (born August 31, 1945 in Lamprechtsberg, Lavamünd municipality ) is an Austrian musician and composer .

He is one of the founders of the original, cheerful Lavanttaler from Carinthia . The group is no longer professionally active today (2016). The group's origins go back to 1963.

In 2013 he and his brothers Leopold and Robert († 2015) were awarded the Gold Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria . Urach is a member of the board of the Association of Austrian Folk and Popular Music Composers.
