Hudson K. Tannis
Hudson K. Tannis ( 1928 - August 2, 1986 ) was a politician of the Saint Vincent Labor Party (SVLP) from St. Vincent and the Grenadines .
After gaining independence, he was the country's first foreign minister from 1979 to 1984 . After the SVLP lost the 1984 elections and Robert Milton Cato was replaced as Prime Minister by James Fitz-Allen Mitchell , Cato withdrew from politics and resigned from his position as chairman of the SVLP, which was taken over by Tannis on January 22, 1985 has been.
Tannis was killed on August 2, 1986 in a plane crash.
