Hugh Burden
Hugh Burden (born April 3, 1913 in Colombo ( Ceylon ), † May 17, 1985 in London ) was a British actor and playwright .
Life
Burden was born in 1913 in Colombo, the capital of the British colony of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka ), the son of a colonial official. In Great Britain he became known for his numerous television roles. In the television series "Der Spürsinn des Mr. Reeder" (16 episodes, 1969–1971), based on Edgar Wallace's detective novel The Sixth Sense of Mr. Reeder , Burden played the main character JG Reeder. Mr. Reeder's instinct was broadcast on East German television in 1980 .
