Hugh Mundell

Hugh Mundell (born June 14, 1962 in Kingston , † October 14, 1983 ibid) was a Jamaican roots reggae interpreter.

His first single Where is Natty Dread , produced by Joe Gibbs , he released in 1975 at the age of 13. In 1978 his first album Africa Must Be Free by 1983 was released , this time in collaboration with Augustus Pablo . The following year Mundell produced his own records, he released a total of five albums. Hugh Mundell was murdered in 1983 and was shot to death in the streets of Kingston while driving with Junior Reid .
