Hugo Herrmann (politician)

Georg Hugo Herrmann (born July 26, 1879 in Jagstheim , † August 23, 1943 in Blaufelden ) was a German politician (DDP).

Life

Hugo Herrmann was born as the son of a self-employed farmer. After attending elementary school in Jagstheim, he earned his living as an agricultural employee. Herrmann belonged to the People's Party in the Württemberg Chamber of Deputies from 1913 to 1918 and was a member of the State Constituent Assembly of Württemberg from 1919 to 1920 .

After the First World War , Herrmann joined the German Democratic Party (DDP). In April 1922 Herrmann entered the first Reichstag of the Weimar Republic , elected in June 1920 , by replacing the resigned MP Karl Hermann as representative of constituency 34 (Württemberg). He was a member of the German parliament until May 1924.
