Alessandro Melazzini (born April 20, 1974 in Sondrio ) is a German - Italian journalist , producer and director .

Life

Melazzini spent childhood and youth in Sondrio , where he attended the Carlo Donegani high school. After graduating from the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan with a degree in economics with a thesis on Vilfredo Pareto , he moved to Germany , where he studied philosophy and German literature at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and did a master's thesis on it Suicide by Plato , Seneca and Augustine .

From 2003 to 2011 he worked with La Stampa , writing for the cultural Sunday supplement of Il Sole 24 Ore and for the radio station Radio 24 as a culture and society correspondent from Germany . He has also worked as a consultant and translator for the Bompiani publishing house. He writes u. a. for ADESSO magazine.

In 2010 he founded his production company Alpenway Media GmbH based in Munich.

The City of Munich awarded him the PhönixPreis 2015 for his achievements as an entrepreneur with a migration background.
